Explore the various Booths at ECCA2025: Why You Should Not Miss Them

A showcase of the impactful initiatives, institutions and projects behind the 7th European Climate Change Adaptation Conference

At ECCA2025, the exhibition area is not just a side attraction, but it is a dynamic hub where key organizations showcase their knowledge, tools, and initiatives driving climate adaptation forward. Here is a sneak peek at our booths worth visiting:

JPI Climate / MAGICA - As organisers of ECCA2025, JPI Climate and the MAGICA project invite you to visit our joint booth and discover how we’re strengthening the science-policy interface for climate action across Europe. Learn about our landmark report on sea level rise, produced with JPI Oceans, and discover how we're shaping the future through joint calls, strategic agendas, and science-policy dialogues such as the Equinox Summit and Climate Neutrality Forum. The Secretariat team is happy to answer your questions and share what’s next on the road to a climate-resilient Europe.

CMCC Foundation - As an organiser of ECCA2025 along with JPI Climate, at CMCC booth you can discover crucial scientific insights and the numerous ways to participate in its activities, including job and training opportunities, by visiting the CMCC booth and contacting the staff  for one-on-one meetings. The CMCC booth will also contribute to the debate and dialogue, showcasing innovative scientific approaches and tools, practical solutions and policy-oriented perspectives across all themes addressed by the conference. Here, visitors can discover the sea level sensor InterBox and CMCC’s work on coastal restoration and nature-based solutions; join the climate community debunking climate misinformation and engage in participatory adaptation processes; learn about our schools for early-career researchers and professionals and much more.

European Space Agency (ESA) - As a Major Partner of ECCA2025, the European Space Agency brings a powerful perspective from above. Its booth will highlight how space-based technologies and satellite data can support climate adaptation planning across Europe. From monitoring coastal erosion to tracking land use change and soil moisture, ESA’s tools empower cities, farmers, and policymakers alike. Stop by to explore its work and speak directly with ESA experts about how space is helping us build climate resilience. This might also be a precious opportunity to gain some insights on the exhibition Our Ocean from Space, co-produced by ESA and UNESCO, which will be installed on the occasion of ECCA2025 in Rimini, in Piazzale Boscovich, from June 16 to July 16, 2025.

European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) - CINEA supports the EU’s transition toward a climate-neutral and resilient future. At ECCA2025 its booth will offer general information on EU initiatives, funding programmes, and success stories in the field of climate adaptation and sustainability. Whether you are working on policy, research, or community-based projects, it is a great place to explore how the EU backs action on the ground and connects innovation with impact.

ECCA2025 Project partners - In this area you can discover all of our partners’ cutting-edge activities and projects in climate change adaptation. Their participation strengthens the knowledge base and impact pathways that ECCA2025 aims to amplify by bringing together policy, science, and practice under one roof. You will specifically find:

DIRECTED Project - DIsaster Resilience for Extreme ClimaTe Events providing interoperable Data, models, communication and governance

ICARIA Project - Improving climate resilience of critical assets

IMPETUS4CHANGE Project - Driving forward actionable climate knowledge for transformative change

LOCALISED Project - Localised decarbonisation pathways for citizens, local administrations and businesses to inform for mitigation and adaptation action

MAIA Project - Maximising impact and accessibility of European climate research

SCORE Project - Smart control of the climate resilience in European coastal cities

The Decade Collaborative Centre for Coastal Resilience (DCC-CR) - Hosted by the University of Bologna and supported by the UN Ocean Decade, the DCC-CR is a global hub focused on enhancing coastal resilience through science, education, and policy collaboration. At ECCA2025, it will bring a strong coastal dimension to the climate adaptation conversation. Here, visitors can discover how cutting-edge marine science meets real-world actions and have the chance to be part of a growing global community building coastal resilience.

Telethon Foundation - Telethon is well-known for its commitment to rare disease research, thus bringing an unexpected yet meaningful contribution to ECCA2025. Indeed this booth reminds us how advanced health research, data technologies, and a human-centered approach can also play a role in building resilience in the face of climate change, highlighting that health and climate are closely linked and that expertise from different fields can inspire more inclusive adaptation strategies.

These booths are not  just for browsing, they are entry points to collaboration and networking, knowledge, and new opportunities. Stop by and see where your work fits in!
