DIRECTED - DIsaster Resilience for Extreme ClimaTe Events providing interoperable Data, models, communication and governance

Training for impact: Learning exchange on extreme flooding in Rimini using interoperable tools and governance frameworks
If you manage disaster response or support long-term planning and need to consider climate risks, this event is for you! Come share your experiences and learn from others in a hands-on learning exchange focused on early warning, disaster preparedness, and climate adaptation, using the case of extreme flooding in Rimini, Italy
This session has limited spaces and will prioritise attendance from representatives from municipalities, civil protection and other government authorities/ agencies and policymakers responsible for managing extreme climate/ weather events and adaptation/ resilience planning. Organisers will be in contact with you before the event and confirm your participation.

Special Brokerage Event on 'Exploring tools for urban climate action planning'
Together the EU-funded projects — LOCALISED I-CISK, ReachOut, and RethinkAction — are hosting a Brokerage Event on Tuesday, 17 June, at 16:30 in Faro Room.
This special session will showcase innovative tools developed over the past years by our projects and give visitors the chance to explore them. Open for all interested, especially useful for urban planners, local authorities, and public authorities dealing with climate action planning.

MAIA Discovery Services: Connecting climate solution providers with markets
This special session is dedicated to climate solutions providers, local governments, innovations agents, policymakers, public bodies representatives, among others.
MAIA project, through its Discovery Services, connects demand with supply by allowing users to explore climate research projects, technology and organisations. The Discovery Services support regional ecosystems by transforming fragmented data into actionable insights, enable access to knowledge and climate services, and connect regional and trans-regional actors along value chains. These services ensures innovative findings make it off the page and into practice, and decision-makers can access insights to take action.

SCORE - Smart control of the climate resilience in European coastal cities

SCORE Innovative solutions for climate change adaptation in coastal areas: when Green and Digital tools meet Living Labs
The event is a great opportunity to engage with the international community on climate adaptation, exchange ideas, and highlight practical, scalable solutions for climate resilience in coastal regions. It will be organized into two sessions: one on co-creation and living labs, including presentations on Citizen Science and Stakeholder Engagement Tools and on Ecosystem-Based approaches, including some experiences from our 10 Coastal City Living Labs. The second session will focus on how to integrate Green and Digital solutions, presenting modelling climate risks in coastal cities to strengthen resilience with data driven strategies and smart tools for real-time monitoring.
